Mhhhh … Flickr can be a nice photo-community, but sometimes it can just be downright disgusting as well. Out of curiosity I just checked upon some people who favorited some photographs I’d put up, and I ended up blocking a whole bunch of them.
Most of the pictures that had “favorites” were pics I’d taken at the Fantasy Fair last year. Most of them were of girls in pretty dresses. Nothing fancy, nothing really sexy even – but I found out that a whole lot of them had been favorited by a crossdresser and a bunch of his friends. Most of [ ... ]

Funny how time off always brings the creative me out again. When I’m working I rarely do anything with my own websites, but give me a couple of days of holiday and things start to itch.
I’ve been upgrading most of the logs under my control to the new version of WordPress, and I’m pretty impressed with a) how fast and relatively smooth the upgrades went, and b) what the new dashboard looks like. Even so, Arno really had to shake me awake this morning telling me the buzzer had already gone off, and I’ve been sitting here in some kind of [ ... ]

The weekend was fun but exhausting. Saturday morning we had to get up early to drive to Veldhoven for Arno’s nephew’s birthday. He turned six, and we brought him a funny card and an envelope with money so he could save up for a bigger present from the Playmobil catalogue. Man, that stuff is expensive!
I’d planned to arrive early and leave early, since I had to pack for the photoshoot on sunday and drive to Maarssen. It was not to be. By the time it was 2 pm, Arno was smack dab in the middle of fixing [ ... ]

Despite being so tired I really had to go and do something today, so I drove to the center of town to take some outdoor shots of the church. It was freaking hot, and I had two huge blisters on my heels before I could blink. Meh.
The day did pay off though. Upon arriving at the center, I noticed that nowadays the church is open for visitors – for free even – and I’d never had a chance to go inside. So I did, and I didn’t regret it. It’s definately breathtaking – I think it’s been renovated not only [ ... ]
