Hibernation

I think my body has slipped into some kind of hibernation mode. With the bout of epicly bad sleep recently and the action packed weekend, it’s like every cell in my body screams that it has been enough. The dreary weather doesn’t help either. Yesterday evening I was nodding off on the couch at 7:30 pm … I ran a bath and soaked, and by 10 I think I was sound asleep. Even so, Arno really had to shake me awake this morning telling me the buzzer had already gone off, and I’ve been sitting here in some kind of zombie-like daze. Yesterday actually wasn’t any better.

Today I was supposed to go to the Hague with Linda and Dagmar for a nice hamam session, but yesterday Lin texted that she was not feeling well at all. We hope it’s not Crohn flaring up again, but we’ll hear on monday probably when she’s visited her internist :(

So we postponed. It’s a shame really, because I could have used a day of relaxation. Instead, I am at work. Suddenly there’s a lot to do here and financially we can really use the income as well. Between the wedding and me not getting payed because there was no one to sign off my hours here due to the holiday season we’re living on a pretty tight budget at the moment. I hope Content will pay out at the end of the month, but I could be unlucky and receive the first payment half september. It’s a lot though – may, june and july accumulated, and august proves to be a good month money-wise as well, so it’s a temporary slump. One that is inconvenient though, because the invoice for the painters AND the photographer need to be paid soonish. Meh. Oh well, if push comes to shove we will need to withdraw the funds we had in investments.

So anyhow … at work at the moment. Tomorrow I’m picking up my medical dossier in Delft (it’s about time) and I will be visiting Linda for a short while. Then back home it is because I need to get going on the photoshoot shots.

I hope you will get less tired soon. *hugs*
Otherwise, ask your GP for a blood test, sometimes they actually find something ;)

Well, I’m off to the GP somewhere next week anyway, for another checkup on allergies and other stuff, so I’ll have to draw blood in all likelihood. I’d just like somewhat of a total checkup.
