Funny how time off always brings the creative me out again. When I’m working I rarely do anything with my own websites, but give me a couple of days of holiday and things start to itch.
I’ve been upgrading most of the logs under my control to the new version of WordPress, and I’m pretty impressed with a) how fast and relatively smooth the upgrades went, and b) what the new dashboard looks like. It’s so much cleaner and better designed than it was, and I love that I now have a widescreen form to type my posts in instead of [ ... ]

I received a strange-looking envelope in the mail today, which contained a mysterious little gem by C.S. Lewis. Funny, as I was watching Narnia only yesterday.

Friday night was really good with me, Olli, Bren and Kel having drinks at the Fiddler (or at least, they did), going to Oni for yet another fabulous sushi-fest, and then returning to the Fiddler for more drinks. I love how we spend more time together lately. It’s so easy to immerse in work and forget you have a social life.
I had something to celebrate – a very good lead on a possible new client. A structural one. Very happy about that. We’ll see on january 7th I guess.
On the way back I lucked out with the train. It was [ ... ]
