The Khalasar
* squeal* I moved guilds again. Went from XSS to GzG (who are fabulous by the way, but a little too less a raiding guild to my taste) and now went to the Khalasar. Does the name ring a bell? Yup – it is a Dutch guild who are nuts about GRRM’s A Song of Ice and Fire series. I fit in like a glove!
Things that go *bump* in the night
P ffff – that was a rocky ending to an already rocky day. Had to work at Hardenberg today, and was supposed to stay over at a hotel tonight to spend another day of work at the same client tomorrow. Over the course of the day we found out that there probably wasn’t enough work to be done to sustain me yet another day however, so I went home instead. Considering the fact that it is very, very foggy outside, which caused a delay of more than an hour that morning already (argh, 4 hours in the car just to get there) I wasn’t looking forward to it muchly. On the otherhand, I did look forward to spending the evening at home, also because I have developed a rotten cold and the hotel room doesn’t have a bath. So I got in the car at half past four,...

Gentle reminder
W hen one of your cats pushes a glass vase off the window-sill, which then breaks, vacuum a little more diligently. I now have two cuts in my left foot, one of which was bleeding bad enough that I couldn’t walk up the stairs to get a bandaid for fear of smearing the entire carpet with bright red stains. Ouch.
