Why is it that all the bad things happen at once? And all the good opportunities seem to arise at once as well? Is that life? I don’t know …. weird how things go.

Yet another opportunity arose, this time careerwise. All I have to do now is win that jackpot on Old Year’s Eve and we’re all set

By the way, no news yet on the house. I didn’t expect any actually. I think this might last till after the New Year has arrived. No rush, no rush. I just hope things will fall out positively.

Update

And we’re back in the race! This time the bid is more positive, and we’re trying to see where this goes. For tonight I’ve managed to make an apointment with a financial advisor. The lady I spoke to on the phone was very very helpful, and she made a quick calculation based on my salary, The Man’s salary, the worth of the house and the price of the houses we are looking at to see how much we of the underworth we can finance in our next mortgage. You know what? ALL of it! WHAH! THAT is fucking good news! (and that is adding the debt we still have … teehee).

This is going the right way. I can feel it
