Driver’s Seat…tumdumdum dum Driver’s Seat

Something tells me we’re in for a laugh before long. I am going to be testdriving the car this afternoon…but hmmmzzz…the guy I spoke to on the phone didn’t sound too kosjer if you catch my drift. He couldn’t tell me whether it was a Mazda-MX5 1.6i or an 1.8. Since it’s made in 1992 I am sure it is an 1.6i, Limited Edition (did my homework) but he says on his own website it is an 1.8. Hmmzzz…those weren’t made in 1992, those were made starting 1994. I downloaded a whole tips and tricks manual, telling me what to look for in occasion Mazda MX-5′s so, I guess we will be alright. *grins* I just keep imagining this little toolshed with a stretch of grassland and heaps of slowly decaying cars instead of an official ca

2002 review

The end of the year is approaching fast. This was a strange year for me. The year of the big change. The year of me finally choosing for me. The year of hurt, tears, anxiety. The year of new things, great changes, and lots of love. When I look back at the beginning of the year, and compare it to my life now, nothing is the same. I remain the only constant in it. When Januari comes, the change will be complete. I have a new house, a new car, a new job and a new boyfriend. A lot can happen in a year. Januari The year didn’t really start of well. Gino was confined to home on account of the accident with his eye and I started to feel more and more cooped up. We thought that we had put our differences aside now that he had had such bad luck. I thought that love...

My wannahave

I’m looking for a new car. I have two criteria really. Uhm, no three: its gotta be green. Heh. It’s gotta be affordable (roughly between 6 and 8000 euro’s)…and it’s gotta be a convertible. Heh. Guess what I found: *drool* And it is affordable. In about a month. Guess this one will be sold by then but there prolly will be another available somewhere. *grin*

Forget the sauna

The Man and I had plans to go to a sauna today, in Blijswijk. Really nice, called the Elysium. The day was very dreary anyway, nothing better to do…well I guess a lot of people thought the same. When we got there, the parking lot was so crowded there were people double parked. We shot one look at eachother and then I got the car out of there as fast as I could. I could just imagine: a LOT of sweaty people all packed on top of eachother. Not my idea of a relaxing time. So we drove on to Utrecht instead. Weird, now that I am here my mood has radically improved. I haven’t really felt at ease in my home the last week. Probably because I am connecting it with what my parents said last week. I know I should get over it, but somehow they pushed that final...

Bloghopping

I’m surfing today. I just wanted to find some other blogs to read and to add to my blogroll. I found a good method, heh….just looked up a Dutch blog, and started hopping from blogrolled blog to blogrolled blog. Lotsa goodies out there. Maybe I should partly start to blog in Dutch too. Add a different section or something? Dutch is a nice language too and since I have recently started to write in Dutch anyway, maybe I should try blogging in Dutch too. Don’t know yet. I like English because it is so international. I can reach out further with my blog in English. Yet Dutch is my native language. *shrugs* On with my blog-hop quest.
